KEO PAGODA ORGANIZED THE CHARITY PROGRAM: “A LOVING SPRING 2026”

On the afternoon of February 9, 2026, Keo Pagoda (Tổ Đình Chùa Keo) organized the charity program titled “A Loving Spring 2026.” This is an annual charitable initiative held at Keo Pagoda on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, aimed at supporting disadvantaged households in Vu Tien Commune, Hung Yen Province.
Attending the gift-giving ceremony was Venerable Thich Thanh Quang, Abbot of Keo Pagoda and Head of the Organizing Committee.
Representing the local authorities of Vu Tien Commune were Mr. Tran Duc Toan, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Mr. Pham Chi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Hai Yen, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; together with representatives of relevant commune-level agencies and organizations.
Representing the Phuc To Fellowship of Keo Pagoda was Mr. Pham Van Dinh, Head of the Fellowship. Also present were representatives of 100 disadvantaged households in Vu Tien Commune, Hung Yen Province.
On the occasion of the Bính Ngọ Lunar Spring 2026 (Year of the Fire Horse) a total of 70 million VND was presented to 100 households in the form of cash and gifts, including 500,000 VND in cash and gifts valued at 200,000 VND per household.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tran Duc Toan expressed his sincere appreciation to the Venerables of Keo Pagoda and to all benefactors who have continuously shown compassion and care for underprivileged families and those facing hardship within the commune. He expressed his hope that in the years to come, the program would continue to receive the generous support of donors and philanthropists, enabling disadvantaged households to celebrate a warmer and more fulfilling Lunar New Year. On this occasion, he extended heartfelt New Year wishes to the 100 beneficiary families, wishing them a joyful, peaceful, and happy spring embraced by the love of the community.
Venerable Abbot Thich Thanh Quang also conveyed his New Year blessings to Buddhist followers and disadvantaged families in the commune, wishing them a safe, joyful, and peaceful Tet holiday. He expressed deep gratitude to Tra Ly Fiber Joint Stock Company (in Thái Bình Ward), along with benefactors and generous donors who contributed financial offerings in support of this charitable endeavor.
